30 hour Population Specific training now available online!

At Sunrise Services, our Caregiver Training programs are constantly looking for ways to better offer our curriculum. This is why we are proud to announce that our 30 hour, Population Specific (PS) training is now available online. This new online module is part of the curriculum for new caregivers.

In today’s world, training for a new career can be complicated due to demanding work and family schedules. Online training offers a flexibility that the classroom experience can’t provide. Our 30 hour PS module topics include:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

This new online training program is a great tool to help serve our community. If you have any questions about this or any of our other training opportunities, you may visit our website at www.sunrisecaregivertraining.com or give us a call at 425-212-4210 (Everett) or 360-755-3801 (Mt Vernon).

Fall 2017 Employees of the Month

Congratulations to our Fall 2017 Employees of the Month!

We are proud to have an amazing team at Sunrise Services. Below, we recognize employees who have gone above and beyond to fulfill their duties. Sunrise employs over 900 people, so being recognized as an employee of the month is quite an honor.

Ashley Lincoln, Children’s Support Specialist (August)

Ashley has prioritized the kids who live at the home and is a trusted mentor to staff. They feel confident and secure bringing house concerns to Ashley. She is a great team leader. Seemingly tireless, she works additional shifts when needed, especially those shifts no one else will take. Taylor described how Ashley makes the clients and staff feel supported. She feels the program runs smoothly and much of the credit for that should go to Ashley.

Amy Kevorkian, Chemical Dependency Counselor (November)

Amy is appreciated for her ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in what can sometimes be a chaotic work environment. She puts great effort into documenting her encounters with each client to ensure anyone who looks at the record can know what is happening with the client. Her supervisors appreciate Amy’s commitment to providing quality care to each client she works with. She is described as compassionate and dedicated. In addition to all she does for her clients, she always finds the time to lend a helping hand to her co-workers.
